Ibrox under the lights!

Rangers play St. Mirren under the lights tonight at Ibrox, so here’s a throwback to a long exposure shot from earlier in the year. Wanted to make the best of the recent rainfall to see enhance the reflections while also capturing the post match glow of the stadium.

Crimson sunset.

I was on my way back from the match yesterday when I noticed the sky starting to turn red. Couldn’t resist the opportunity, so parked up nearby and grabbed my camera.

I pass over the Squinty Bridge a lot but it’s still one of my favourite places to take photos! 🌅 🌆 📸

Cobalt Curve.

Visited the GOMA to get this blue hour long exposure shot. I positioned the camera nice and low along one of the shiny paving stones to give a nice reflective element to the shot. Just had to wait for a bus to pass through to create the perfect light trails.

What a show to sign off Glasgow 2026!

A stunning fireworks display along the Clyde brought the 11-day festival of sport to an end.

I was really keen to go along and capture the fireworks display last night along the Clyde after missing out on the chance during the 2014 games.

What a great event and a huge credit to all the staff that worked so hard to make the games such a success!!

The Glasgow Rose

I had to take the opportunity to photograph this stunning piece of artwork down by the Clyde.

The Glasgow Rose was designed by Glasgow-based artist Emer Tumilty in collaboration with NEWSUBSTANCE.

I wanted to get a mix of shots including reflection, light trails and framing it within an old mooring loop. Which one is your favourite?

Alignment.

I was on my way back from the shops when I noticed the moon was going to line up perfectly with the Light and Life statue above the former Co-operative building in Glasgow.

Nipped into my flat and rushed out to grab this shot. It took a few attempts, but really happy with the result.
