Shannon and Kameron flew in from Louisville, Kentucky and got married with nobody watching but the mountains. No guests, no ceremony, no audience. Just the two of them reading their vows to each other as the sun went down, and then setting Shannon’s bouquet on fire, which she had asked for months in advance and which turned out to be the best decision of the day. June, peak lupine, which is the entire reason to elope in that one fortnight of the year. Kvernufoss, Skógafoss and Reynisfjara for everything in between.

Surprise — she’s back.✨

Maternity leave is officially a wrap, and apparently I came back swinging, because the last few weeks have been a blur of black sand beaches, hidden waterfalls, and couples kissing in places that probably aren’t on any “safe and dry” list.

Iceland did NOT come to play this season and neither did these two. Kissing inside Gljúfrabúi, twirling in front of mossy highland giants, and sharing a celebratory pylsa.🌭This is exactly the wild, adventurous elopement stuff I live for.

As an Iceland elopement photographer I’m now booking 2027 dates, I’ve grabbed a few last minute spots for this year, and the ONLY thing I’ve got left for 2026 is a little October availability. If a misty canyon, golden hour, run-through-the-highlands kind of day has been living in your head, now’s the moment to slide into my inbox before it’s gone.

Northern Lights in the sky, my beautiful baby in my arms and I’ve just been nominated by for Europe’s Best Wedding Photographer. 😳

To whoever nominated me: thank you.💕I don’t know who you are, but your support means more than you can imagine.

I’m especially proud of this one because I photographed every single 2025 elopement while being pregnant ,showing up, creating, and giving my whole heart to each story, even on the days it wasn’t easy. It reminded me what I’m capable of, and why this work matters so much to me.
I’m feeling very grateful tonight, and excited for everything that’s still to come. Thank you for being here and supporting my work.🩷

Okay, time for the update that explains my recent “vanished into the mist” era.

The past year has been insanely busy in my business in a way that genuinely brought me a lot of joy. I got to create so much, travel, and the hard work and my dedication even brought home a few international awards. I’m incredibly grateful for that. 💕

But about two years ago I started realizing something: I needed to slow down. Life goes by fast, and I didn’t fully live it when I was sacrificing every minute of my time to make other people happy and create hundreds of beautiful photos for them. I love what I do but I don’t want my entire life to be work.

Success to me now looks like balance. Career and personal life. And if that means working less, then that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

I’ve been quietly living a whole new chapter behind the scenes, and it’s changed everything about my pace, my schedule, and my capacity.

⭐️I had a baby. I am a mom.⭐️

I always longed to become a mom and to make my husband a dad. I’m wildly sleep deprived and completely over the moon, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us with this little perfect nugget. 🍼

👉🏻I’m currently on maternity leave until June.

💌If you’ve emailed or are thinking about reaching out—thank you. I’m not ignoring you. My response time is slower right now, and I’m also behind on updating my website + pricing. I’m asking for a little extra patience while I find my rhythm.

Starting in February I’ll be opening a small number of video call slots for couples planning ahead—limited availability, because every day with a newborn is a surprise plot twist.

I’m still excited and deeply dedicated to giving the best experience and photos to couples who choose to work with me—but I’ll be taking a limited amount of bookings from now on. That gives me more room to be more intentional, more precise, and to pour more attention and energy into every single elopement.

I’m running on very little sleep and a whole lot of love.💕
