Hi I´m Bjarni Sigurðsson and am a photographic enthusiast with an interest in people, nature, food and sports, with the hope that I do that categories justice.
I got my first camera at 14, it was Olympus OM40. At 15 I attended photography course in high school "Hvassaleitisskóli" , there Halldór Þórðarson taught us how to develop a film and methods in the dark room. At that time i got my own B/W developing tools. When I was learning to be a chef i got another great camera Minolta x700 and I traded my OM40 up to OM2program. I did not get in to digital photography until 2005 when it went to Photography courses in Iðnskóli Reykjavíkur, at that time I did not own my own DRSL digital camera, my first DRSL was Canon Eos 20D.
Now I shoot on Fujifilm.
I´m always learning, the day I stop learning is the day that I die !
