The creative power of water 🌊

Photographs I’ve taken where water contributes as the creative element 📸

The first and second photos are new works from my last journey to Indonesia: the Madakaripura waterfall and the mangroves with corals in the foreground in Raja Ampat.

The other photos are taken in Iceland, Valle d’Aosta in Italy, Canada and French Alps.

Sometimes nature creates its own geometry shaped by time or the changing seasons.

What I love most about photographing the Dolomites are the contrasts. 📸

Small refuges under immense walls.
Soft flowers beneath sharp peaks.
Colorful light and mysterious cloudy mood.
Light appearing for just a moment before everything disappears again.

Places where the landscape feels both powerful and intimate.

Mountain ranges of the world 🌄

I took these photos in Patagonia, Canada, Kazakhstan, French Alps and the Italian Dolomites. Different landscapes, different moods, but the same feeling of standing in front of something greater than yourself.

Some feel wild, some peaceful, some almost impossible to describe.
