Thirteen years ago, I met Victoria and Bart at the wedding of Victoria’s sister, one of my very first destination weddings in Puglia. I still remember the nerves, the excitement, and the responsibility of capturing such an important day.

Apparently, I must have done something right — because after all these years, Victoria and Bart chose to trust me once again to tell their story.

It was truly moving to reunite with them, with Maria and Jan, and finally to meet their four wonderful children. A reminder of how photography connects us not just to moments, but to people and their journeys through life.
