The sprawling abandoned village of Kayaköy sits on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Originally inhabited by 6,500 Greeks, World War I led to the almost total depopulation of the town's Greek inhabitants by 1918. Due to rumours of ghosts of the Greeks that died here, the Turkish refugees that came back to Turkey after the war refused to live in Kayaköy.

Naturland Eco Park and Resort was once one of the most famous 'eco holiday' hotels in Turkey opening in 1991. However due to large debts, the hotel was put up for sale in 2013, and in 2014 was closed down permanently, now left in it's idle state of disrepair. Slowly rotting away, the park lays dormant with only the occasional urbex explorer walking around amidst the animal statues and rubble.

Even now this roughly 1700 year old Roman aqueduct in the south of Turkey is impressive in its grandeur and original length of 19km, bringing vast quantities of fresh water to the historical town of Pamphilia. The remaining pillars cast long shadows over the land, even as the world around them moves on.
