My name is Elena and I graduated in Photography in Turin in 1995. For years I have organized cultural events in different artistic fields such as music, theater, visual arts, film and television. My father bought me my first SLR camera when I was a young girl. He was passionate about it and revealed its
secrets to me, he explained its operation and the magic of light impressing the film. I was so fascinated by it that even then I sensed that my future would be to become a professional photographer … a dream that I was able to accomplish. My Mom passed on to me her passion for fashion and elegance and that was the completion of my development in terms of style. “Fine things” is what I look for, is what I do and who I am: the best technology, the finest food and wine (my origins from Piedmont contributed here!!) and also my family, including my two sweet dachshunds. In my photography I prefer to use mostly natural light and shoot scenes that are spontaneously composed. I try to keep the curiosity of the beginner in my eyes, the enthusiasm of a child in my spirit and I always remember not to take anything for granted. I make use of the most advanced technologies combined with the study of light. I recently added to my equipment a Leica SL mirrorless camera, in addition to the traditional SLR Canon mkIII and L series lenses to use with both cameras.
