It’s been a long, long time since I’ve posted here. I’ve received a number of messages and emails asking me where I’ve been and what I’m up to.
This past year has been a tough one for all of us, and being reflective and quiet is what has felt best during a trying time. I don’t really share much that’s personal here, but welcoming baby #2 into our family at the onset of the pandemic alongside feeling the need for a pretty sizable shift in my business is formula enough for a wild 2020, not to mention all of the other craziness this year has thrown at everyone.
Draper Gray was created out of my love for capturing life through the camera and my passion for film photography. These reasons are still why I pick up the camera. But my business is changing. After shooting many weddings, elopements, engagements, etc., over the last few years, I have new perspective that tells me I need to shift. I will still shoot select weddings and couple-based sessions; however, I feel the need to run in the direction of something different.
So stay tuned to this space in 2021 for a fresh start and a new beginning. I’m excited to have you along for the journey. 🖤
