This couple chose the Dolomites as the place for their elopement and…what a choice it was!
An otherworldly setting at Lago di Braies framed their first look and an intimate ceremony, shared in the presence of their moms.
I’m deeply grateful I could photograph their entire day from quiet preparations at the hotel, to witnessing their vows, and then following them into a true adventure: drifting together on a wooden boat across the lake, riding a cable car to the mountain summit, and sharing a gourmet lunch for four in a panoramic restaurant — a true piece of culinary art, suspended between sky and stone.
Afterwards, we slowed everything down. Just the two of them again relaxed, intimate, deeply connected — wandering through alpine meadows during a late August sunset. The light felt like a blessing, the perfect closing chapter of their session. Nature was with us all day long, and during lunch, flocks of mountain birds kept gliding past the restaurant windows as if on cue.
In moments like these, I can’t help but feel that the universe keeps collaborating with me📸🐦⬛

This region is my specialty — for the past 8 years, I’ve been exploring these mountains on foot, bike or in the helicopter, studying light, seasons, and weather shifts, and discovering countless breathtaking locations - some of them really untouched if you are willing to hike with me 🧗🏻♀️
I bring not only creative vision, but also deep logistical insight and regional knowledge — the kind that only comes with long-term, on-the-ground experience.
