The beauty of eloping is that you get to create a day that’s completely your own. No rules, no expectations. Just something that feels true to the two of you. ✨

That’s exactly what L & M did.

They found a beautiful B&B tucked away in a quiet, ancient town in Umbria , the perfect setting for a slow, peaceful morning. They got ready in the same place, in different rooms, surrounded by calm and soft laughter.

When the time came, we planned their first look just outside the B&B, at a viewpoint overlooking the hills — a tender, emotional moment they’ll never forget.

Then came their intimate ceremony, filled with tears, smiles, and quiet joy. And to end the day, we wandered to a nearby waterfall for a short hike and some portraits, the perfect way to celebrate their love in nature.

A day made entirely for them… simple, genuine, and full of heart. 💚

These two came to Tuscany with one wish: a sunset ceremony on a hilltop.

No decorations. No fuss. Just the two of them standing together, cypress trees behind them, golden light all around, laughing through their vows as the sun slowly disappeared behind the hills.

Bailey and Raphael’s elopement in the breathtaking Valdolce Valley, Tuscany, was nothing short of magical ✨💛. From the very beginning, they wanted a day that was truly theirs. Romantic, intimate, fun, and full of moments that would make them smile for years to come.⁣
⁣
Their day wasn’t just about a ceremony or portraits; they celebrated their love in ways that felt personal and joyful. Together with the groom’s sister, they took a private cooking class, creating fresh pasta and tiramisu,laughter and flour included 🍝❤. They wandered through ancient Tuscan towns, soaking in every corner of history and charm. For their wedding cake, they paused to read heartfelt letters from loved ones who couldn’t be there, letting their words fill the valley with love and emotion 💌.⁣

And because their day was all about living in the moment, they ended it with pure joy: after their first dance, they jumped straight into the pool, laughing and celebrating the start of their newlywed life in the most playful way 💦💫.⁣

TUSCANY ALTERNATIVE ELOPEMENT 😎

I am absolutely in LOVE with those two sweet souls 🥰
Spending time with Domenic & Julie was an absolute pleasure!
This lovely couple came from USA to get married in Tuscany, and they chose Italy because Domenic has Italian roots 🇮🇹
I was so surprised and happy to hear that they booked accommodation in a hidden gem situated on the mountain area close to Florence.
They weren’t focused too much on getting stunning perfect images in typical Tuscan vibe, but they wanted a simple relaxed day, just for the two of them in a place that was speaking TO THEM 🥹💚

We had a super relaxed beginning of the day getting ready at the B&B with make up and hair for Julie, then we drove till the secret spot for their ceremony 🥰

They committed into each other lives with romantic personal vows sharing and ring exchange 💍

It was so touching, and truly inspiring an absolute emotional moment full of joy and love 😍

They then popped some Prosecco and got some confetti that Domenic’s grandma gave him before the trip 🥰

We chilled a bit there just enjoying the view and getting some couple photos, and shortly moved to the last location, a lovely little town with an ancient mill and river crossing it 💚

We spent the last hours wondering around the river and walking in the little tiny streets 🙈

As a final touch they got a private chef cooking for them at the B&B 😋
I couldn’t imagine a better day honestly, perhaps because it was similar to mine special day and I felt so connected ✨

HOW TO ELOPE IN TUSCANY IN A NUTSHELL ✨
So, you are thinking to elope in Tuscany but don’t know where to start?

These are the very first steps to follow👇

- With your partner do this little exercise: Close your eyes and imagine your perfect day. Not your wedding day, but in general, if you could have a day filled with all those things that you like and makes you happy, how would that day look like? Ask yourself “What is the scenery like?”“What activities we would like to do?” And so on. This helps a lot figuring out what is important to you and what you want to get from the day. 👫

- Start researching where the ceremony will be. Depending on what kind of ceremony you want some places suit better than others, for example if you wish to have civil legally binding ceremony Town Halls are a good option, or there are many wedding locations like villas, or Agriturismi that are licensed for it. If instead you want a symbolic ceremony things are much easier, and you can choose in total freedom where you want it to be, even on a public space outdoor. ⛪

- Ceremony location sorted, now if you still need accommodation you can start searching for it, make sure it is not further than 35/40 minutes from the ceremony spot. 🏡

- Vendors! Add all the vendors you need, such as florist, make up artist, officiants, private chefs, and so on. 💄🌻

- Add an activity to do together, which can even be a simple walk in a place that feels special to you. 💏

- Seek help if you need! There are many wedding planners that can help you out with the planning part, or use Facebook groups, and, nowadays there are elopement photographers that are also helping through the planning process, I am one of those! 🗒️

- The last but not least peace of advice: Follow your gut! Do not feel obliged to do anything that does not feel right to you. This is a day FOR YOU guys, you are the boss, you choose what it really matters and what not. 💚

TUSCANY INTIMATE WEDDING 😍

What an amazing day! Alex & Jenna wedding, is a perfect example of how beautiful a day can be, when you decide to do things in your way, instead of following preconception and “rules”! 😎

They planned a relaxed day in a lovely location, “Podere Celli” situated in the Chianti area.
They rented the entire place and organised a romantic and intimate ceremony in the garden, with the closest family and friends. 👩‍❤️‍👨

About this, one thing I want to focus on this post, is that choosing to go intimate gives you many positive facts, and here there are some:

- Having only people that you really feel connected with, help you feeling relaxed and protected. This is an important moment, and you deserve to feel calm and happy! 💚

- For those who are not feeling comfortable around crowded situations, or simply are introvert type, or people pleasers, this is a perfect solution! Your needs and emotions are important, and deserve to be at first place. 🙌

- Creating a “safe space” helps you feeling free to be yourself, and share your vows with your partner, focusing completely of the two! 👩‍❤️‍💋👨

The moment where you commit into each others life is special. ✨
You, and ONLY YOU, decide what works for you and what not.
STOP thinking that you HAVE TO DO THINGS just because it has been done always in a certain way. THIS IS YOUR DAY, don’t be afraid to make it really YOURS! 🤗
