"Why are you photographing our shoes?" The answer is very simple – details fade away over time. Jewelry gets broken or lost. The cake gets eaten down to the last crumb. The dress will be rented out or sold. These are just facts.
Details give each wedding its unique character. They are unique to every couple. That is why it is so important to capture and preserve them.
I have a rule: photograph everything that money was spent on.
