Garfagnana is a place waiting to be discovered.
It has its own rhythm slower, more defined.
There’s a precise moment when the light drops between the mountains.
It softens, moves through the space, and leaves only what matters.
Sara and Nicola’s wedding was exactly this:
intimate, essential, deeply shared.
Simplicity as a guiding line.
I don’t build scenes.
I observe, I wait, I move within what unfolds.
Light remains the only true discriminant:
it decides what emerges and what falls away,
what is worth holding onto.

La primavera, quella che si sporca le mani 🌿

Quella fatta di terra sotto le dita,
di piccoli gesti e di cose che crescono piano 🌱
In studio ho immaginato uno spazio semplice,
dove i bambini possono fare, toccare, esplorare.
Senza dover stare fermi, senza dover essere “perfetti” 🤍

Seminare, piantare, osservare.
E nel frattempo, raccogliere immagini vere.

If you are planning a destination wedding in Tuscany, Lucca is one of the most magical places you could choose.
I was born and raised in Lucca, and photographing weddings here still feels incredibly special to me. Every time I work in this city — especially in a venue like Palazzo Pfanner — I’m reminded how lucky I am to document such meaningful moments in the place I call home.
Alessandra and Jordan chose to celebrate their wedding in two beautiful locations in northern Tuscany.�Their ceremony took place in the historic Duomo of Barga, a stunning cathedral nestled in the hills of Garfagnana, one of the most authentic areas of Tuscany.
The reception then moved to the elegant gardens of Palazzo Pfanner, a historic villa in the heart of Lucca, known as one of the most iconic wedding venues in Tuscany.
Before the ceremony, Alessandra and Jordan decided to share a private first look, exchanging their vows surrounded by their bridesmaids and best men — an intimate and emotional moment before the celebration truly began.
From heartfelt moments to joyful dancing late into the evening, their wedding day perfectly reflected the beauty of a Tuscany destination wedding: timeless places, meaningful connections and unforgettable memories.

Planning a destination wedding in Tuscany often means discovering places that feel timeless — and Lucca is one of them.
I was born and raised in Lucca, and photographing weddings here will always feel special to me. Working in this city, especially in a venue like Palazzo Pfanner, is something that fills me with gratitude every single time.
Alessandra and Jordan’s wedding day started in the beautiful Duomo of Barga, a historic cathedral overlooking the hills of Garfagnana, one of the most authentic and charming areas of Tuscany.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Palazzo Pfanner, one of the most iconic wedding venues in Lucca, with its elegant baroque gardens right in the historic centre of the city.
Before walking down the aisle, Alessandra and Jordan chose to share a quiet and emotional first look, exchanging their vows surrounded by their bridesmaids and best men — a moment that felt incredibly intimate and genuine.
The rest of the evening unfolded exactly as a Tuscan wedding should: joy, laughter, dancing and the relaxed beauty of celebrating together in one of the most romantic regions in Italy.
Being able to photograph weddings like this — here in the place I have always called home — is something I will never take for granted.

Living and working in Lucca, Tuscany is something I will never take for granted. It’s the city where I was born and the place I have always called home — I honestly can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Whenever I photograph a wedding here, especially in one of my favourite venues like Palazzo Pfanner, I feel an overwhelming sense of joy. There is something truly special about documenting such meaningful moments in the place I love most.
Alessandra and Jordan’s wedding day began in the beautiful Duomo of Barga, in the heart of Garfagnana, surrounded by the quiet charm of the Tuscan mountains. After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the elegant gardens of Palazzo Pfanner, one of the most iconic wedding venues in the historic centre of Lucca.
What I loved most about these two was their spontaneity. Before the ceremony they chose to share a private moment, exchanging their vows during an emotional first look surrounded by their bridesmaids and best men.�And of course, the day ended the best possible way — with laughter, music and dancing that truly reflected their joy.
Being able to witness and photograph moments like these is something I deeply value. And being able to do it here, in my beloved Tuscany, makes it even more meaningful.
