Oggi sono andata a fare un sopralluogo in una colonia qui in città. Ringrazio Chiara, una delle volontarie che si occupa di loro, che mi ha presentato i pochi mici che non si sono spaventati al mio arrivo e si sono concessi per qualche scatto, per quanto fugace.

Today I went to take a look at a colony here in town. I would like to thank Chiara, one of the volunteers who takes care of these cats, who introduced me to those few who were not frightened when I arrived and indulged in a few shots

Guess where I've been today? It was such an emotional comeback. The sanctuary surrounded by the Venice lagoon is such a special place, it means a lot to me. All my old furry friends were there and greeted me with purrings and head strokes. I couldn't have wished for more.

Indovinate dove sono tornata oggi? E' stato un ritorno molto emozionante. Il parco immerso nella laguna è un luogo magico e ha un significato particolare per me. Tutti i miei vecchi amici pelosi della colonia erano lì e mi hanno accolto con fusa e testatine. Non avrei potuto ricevere un'accoglienza più bella.

Sua Maesta’ la Regina Elisabetta
Da un servizio a domicilio fatto questo fine settimana. Questa creatura meravigliosa mi ha rapito il cuore. E’ passato un po’ dal mio ultimo servizio a domicilio e il compito e’ stato abbastanza impegnativo: luce scarsa, quattro gatti che correvano da tutte le parti e una femmina di pastore tedesco gelosa perche’ non fotografavo lei 😅
Ho fatto del mio meglio e, come accade spesso, e’ accaduto tutto all’improvviso: il momento perfetto.
Spero che questo ritratto vi piaccia quanto piace a me. Che ne dite?

From a private shooting I did last weekend. This wonderful creature captured my soul. It had been a while since my last private shooting and the assignment was quite challenging. Not enough light, four cats running and hiding all over the place plus a German shepherd that felt neglected because I wasn’t shooting her 😅
I did my best and, as it often happens, the unexpected did happen: the perfect moment. I hope you’ll like this portrait as much as I do. Please let me know and leave a comment.
