Nobody tells you this about wedding photography until it is too late. ⬇️

You spend months choosing a venue. Hours choosing a dress.
Twenty minutes choosing a photographer because you ran out of time.

The photographer is the only vendor whose work you will look at
for the rest of your life. Every other decision expires.

Book the person whose work stops you. Not the one with the most reviews.

DM me the word LIGHT and I will send you three questions to ask
before you book any photographer for your Italy wedding.

Four ways to work with me for your wedding and not only— and what each one actually involves.

If you are planning a wedding in Italy and still figuring out
what kind of coverage actually makes sense, start here.
This is what I offer and how each one works in practice.

Most photographers hide their prices. There is a reason I stopped doing that.

Keeping pricing off your website feels strategic until you realise what it actually does.

It filters out the wrong people slowly instead of quickly. And it wastes time for everyone.

So here it is.

Wedding day coverage starts at €4,500.
Destination weekends start at €6,500.

Both include editorial direction, digital and film, and a photographer who has shot enough weddings in Italy to know what actually matters on the day.

No hidden fees. No “starting from” with a number that means nothing.

If you are planning a wedding in Italy and one of these feels like the right fit, comment me with Wed and I will send you full details.

Rachel and Charlie chose Relais Castel Bigozzi for a reason.

A stone farmhouse sitting above the Tuscan valley, olive trees older than the building itself, and a long table set between them like something out of a film you’d watch twice.

The ceremony was outdoors under a July sky. White gladioli lining the aisle, Chianti hills in the background, guests in colour — the kind of crowd that dresses well and dances harder.

We stole twenty minutes at golden hour in the olive grove. The light did what Tuscany light always does.

Then the fairy lights came on, the cypress trees closed in around the table, and the evening took over.

Rachel & Charlie — Relais Castel Bigozzi, Tuscany.

Read this before you book a wedding photographer in Italy.

Here is the one thing you need to know if you want editorial wedding photos in Italy —
and it has nothing to do with the venue you choose.

It’s the photographer’s personality.

What they find beautiful outside of weddings. What they read. What they look at.

That shapes every frame they make on your day — more than their camera, more than their lens, more than the venue you chose.

Save this for later.

Short note: The grid shows the best 12 frames from a full wedding day. It doesn’t show you everything else.

Before you book anyone — ask to see one complete gallery from a single wedding day. That’s where you find out who they actually are.

Let me (re)introduce myself to all the new faces here.

I’m George — a destination wedding photographer based in Italy. Originally from Brasov, Romania. I moved here when I was 12, which means Italy is the country that raised me, shaped me, and eventually became the backdrop for my entire career.

I photograph weddings across Tuscany, Amalfi, Sicily and beyond — mostly for couples travelling from the US, UK, Australia or Canada who have been dreaming of Italy their whole lives.

My work is shaped by minimalism, fashion, and a deep obsession with honest light. Not manufactured moments. The real ones.

At home: dad to my son, partner to my beloved (14 years), someone who takes the gym far too seriously, and a person who will always stop for the kitchen.

If an Italian wedding is on your horizon — you’re in the right place.

Drop a 🇮🇹 if Italy is already living in your head.

Film will never replace digital. And digital will never replace film.

That’s the whole point.

There’s a mood, a softness, a grain to film that no preset in the world can quite recreate. When I pick up a film camera, something shifts — I shoot slower, I see differently, I feel more.

These are a few frames from Rachel & Charlie’s wedding at — a stunning, unforgettable day set against the Tuscan hills. One of those weddings where everything just felt right.

I have so much more from this day to share with you. It was truly beautiful, and it deserves more than a single post.
More coming very soon. 🎞️

This is one wedding decision couples regret rushing.

Not because they chose the wrong thing —
but because they didn’t realise how fast the day actually goes.

The timeline fades.
The details blur.
What stays are the moments you were fully present for.

That’s why wedding photos aren’t really about looking perfect.
They’re about remembering how it felt to be there.

When the day is built with space, calm, and intention,
you don’t need to perform.
You just live it.

And those are the memories that last.
