Dance and stage photographer based in Italy. Federica Capo. Classe ’92. Nata e cresciuta a Napoli. Appassionata di fotografia sin da bambina.

Terminati gli studi classici nel 2011, decide di iscriversi al triennio di Fotografia, Cinema e Televisione presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli. Affascinata dal teatro e innamorata della danza, approfondisce lo studio della fotografia iscrivendosi, nel 2015, al corso di Fotografia di Scena presso l’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, dove, nell’ottobre 2016, consegue il diploma. Federica Capo born and raised in Naples on the October 92'. Since she was a child has been passioned about photography and once she finished her classic high school studies she started a three years degree in Photography at Accademia delle Belle Arti in Naples. In love with the arts and especially with dance , she decided to deepen the studies of photography in 2015 and started a degree in Stage Photography at Teatro La Scala of Milan where in 2016 she finally graduated.

STORYTIME - Gianni

Gianni has been living in Nyc for 10 years. He came to the studio to help me doing the lighting set up.

Then he looked at me and said “I’m turning 30 this year” and I answered “I already have”

Yes, dear Gianni, we grew up. We first met 12 years ago in Munich. We were kids. None of us was eighteen the first time I saw that class in the Ballet Akademie. Then I remember some birthdays. I was in Munich when I turned nineteen. I came with my camera and I did my very first photoshoot with dancers from a professional ballet school.

I remember I was so excited.
If I look at those pictures now, I really laugh so bad.

We discovered the “liquify” tool in photoshop and we used it so improperly. But we were so proud of those pictures….

I can say after 12 years we did better this time.

This was my dream project in the 2020.
But then the pandemic happened and I was going to give it up.

Luckily I didn’t… now I can’t absolutely wait for it.

In collaboration with we are going to have our audition sessions in NYC and Montreal.
