📚 Wenn Schule nicht warten kann – auch nicht auf Krankheit.

Was passiert, wenn ein Kind plötzlich über Wochen oder sogar Monate im Krankenhaus liegt? Kein Unterricht. Kein Klassenzimmer. Kein Alltag.

Die Jakob-Herz-Schule für Kranke in Erlangen ist für genau diese Kinder da. Hier werden Schülerinnen und Schüler unterrichtet, die wegen einer schweren körperlichen oder psychischen Erkrankung nicht in ihre normale Schule gehen können.

🎨 Besonders wichtig ist das Kunstatelier – ein Raum, in dem die Kinder ihre Erfahrungen kreativ verarbeiten und neues Selbstvertrauen schöpfen können. Nicht Leistung steht hier im Mittelpunkt, sondern Ausdruck, Mut und persönliche Entwicklung.

As I found him. For whatever reason, he was holding a ladder in the Piazza della Liberta in Ostuni.
I used the new Photoshop generative fill to remove the many people around him. Both the door of the church on the left as well as the right side of the image are generated using AI.
