There’s a moment, after all the celebration, when the newlyweds are left alone with the sea in front of them. No guests, no music, just the two of them leaning against that white wall, the coast stretching out to the horizon. No longer engaged, but husband and wife, with a whole life still ahead to look at together.

C’è un momento, dopo tutta la festa, in cui gli sposi restano soli con il mare davanti. Nessun invitato, nessuna musica, solo loro due appoggiati a quella parete bianca, con la costa che si allunga all’orizzonte. Non più fidanzati, ma marito e moglie, con tutta la vita ancora da guardare insieme.

Hands finding each other without even trying. They walk slowly, eyes drifting back to one another, again and again, like they can’t help it. They sing without thinking, like there’s nothing else to do that day.

Everything moves slow: the steps, the voices, the backlight settling over them.

Just the two of them, close, in no rush at all.

Le mani che si trovano da sole, senza cercarsi troppo. Camminano piano, gli occhi che tornano sempre l’uno sull’altro, incapaci di fare altrimenti. Cantano senza pensarci, come fosse la cosa più naturale del giorno.

Tutto, quel giorno, è lento: i passi, le voci, il controluce che li avvolge.

Loro due, vicini, senza fretta di niente.

It’s in the details that you recognize the care behind an entire day. Flowers that look freshly picked, candles waiting for sunset, tables set with the same attention reserved for the guests you love most.

The sea in the background, light pouring in from every angle: even before the newlyweds arrive, the celebration has already started telling its story.

È nei dettagli che si riconosce la cura di un giorno intero. Fiori che sembrano appena colti, candele che aspettano solo il tramonto, tavoli apparecchiati con la stessa attenzione riservata agli invitati più cari.

Il mare sullo sfondo, la luce che entra da ogni angolo: prima ancora che arrivino gli sposi, la festa ha già iniziato a raccontare la sua storia.

Two old columns, the sea, the hills: everything seems to have stopped just to watch them. And there they are, still reaching for each other, like it’s never quite enough. Her face pressing gently into his cheek, such a small, simple gesture, him pulling her close and smiling.
Two people still choosing each other, even in the smallest moments.

Due colonne antiche, il mare, le colline: tutto sembra essersi fermato lì solo per guardarli. E loro due che si cercano ancora, come se non fosse mai abbastanza. Lei che lo cerca spingendo piano il viso contro il suo, un gesto piccolo e semplice, lui la stringe e sorride.
Due persone che si scelgono ancora, anche nei gesti più piccoli.

Sunset over the sea, then a kiss stolen at exactly the right moment, with the sea behind them as a quiet backdrop.

From there the party never stops: toasts, smiles, the band keeping the energy up and everyone dancing well into the night. Meanwhile the venue lights up after dark and shows itself in full, perched above the cliff.
And right when it’s all at its peak, the rice flies outside the church.
A jump back to earlier in the day, to a few hours before, when it all really began.

Il tramonto sul mare, poi un bacio rubato proprio nel momento giusto, con il mare dietro a fare da sfondo silenzioso.

Da lì la festa non si ferma più: brindisi, sorrisi, la band che anima tutto senza sosta e trascina tutti a ballare fino a tardi. Nel frattempo la location si accende di notte e si vede in tutta la sua bellezza, sospesa sopra la scogliera.
E poi, proprio mentre tutto è al massimo, il riso vola davanti alla chiesa.
Un salto indietro nel giorno, a poche ore prima, quando tutto è iniziato davvero.

Il sorriso arriva prima del gesto, mentre lei si volta verso la luce che entra dalla finestra.

Il bianco e nero lascia solo l’essenziale: la posa naturale, l’abito che scende morbido sul divano, le mani appoggiate senza pensarci. Un attimo colto esattamente com’è successo.

A glass of prosecco, an easy smile, a few minutes to just be. That quiet moment before it all begins, where you finally stop and breathe it in.

Simple moments like these often end up being some of the most beautiful memories of the whole day.

Prima dell’abito, prima della cerimonia, c’è uno spazio tutto per sé.

Un calice di prosecco, un sorriso spontaneo e qualche minuto da vivere senza fretta. È il momento in cui ci si ferma, si respira e si realizza che, da lì a poco, tutto avrà inizio.

Sono attimi semplici, ma spesso diventano tra i ricordi più belli dell’intera giornata.

Within the solemn walls of this place, he reaches her with a quick step, almost unable to contain himself. Then there they are, embracing and smiling, as if it were the simplest thing in the world.

And that’s exactly what makes them special.

Tra le mura solenni di questo luogo, lui la raggiunge a passo svelto, quasi senza riuscire a contenersi. Poi eccoli, abbracciati e sorridenti, come se fosse la cosa più naturale del mondo.

Ed è proprio questo che li rende speciali.
