P.S. Il Color Reference Handbook non è una nostra idea, l'ispirazione l'abbiamo avuta da Veronica Bassini di Anonima Impressori (nientemeno...).

Molti di questi inchiostri hanno caratteristiche particolari e toni di colore veramente peculiari. Ci teniamo a sottolineare che questi recuperi sono stati possibili grazie all'aiuto di cari amici ( , ti devo un abbraccio cosmico!).

Finally here! After a HUGE delay the specimen book is ready! What happened ‘till now? We made our specimen book in the end of September. Was nearly a 30 page booklet with many font specimens of Linotype, Intertype, Simoncini and Adler Traldi mats. Then everything had a stop. Why? The main reason is the acquisition of the whole collection of Linotipia Nettunia’s mats. We completely reprinted the catalog adding a lot of stuff and reordered the material in the process. Now the specimen book is a 66 page booklet (we doubled the size!). And know what? We are thinking about a Volume 2... ANYWAY! The good news: people who asked for a copy will likely receive it before the end of this year... we are preparing the shipments starting tomorrow! ——- Finalmente è finito!!! Dopo una gargantuesco ritardo possiamo ufficialmente annunciare che il campionario della è pronto! Cosa è successo? In realtà il campionario era già stato preparato a settembre. Avevamo già stampato tutto, preparato tutto, mancava solamente la rilegatura. E poi? E poi una telefonata... e l’acquisizione di tutto il materiale della Linotipia Nettunia. Abbiamo fermato tutto. Portato a casa il materiale e riordinato le nuove polizze. Ristampato tutto da capo... finendo per avere un catalogo di 66 pagine (prima erano a mala pena 30!!!). E sapete cosa? Stiamo pensando già ad un secondo volume! COMUNQUE! La buona notizia è questa: chi ci aveva chiesto una copia potrebbe già averla prima della fine dell’anno. If you are wondering why the new specimen book was delayed... we are evaluating the inclusion of our last acquisition. A huge set of mats to sort. We will decide in a few days if we will include the new specimens or ship the updates later. — Se vi state chiedendo il perché del ritardo nell’invio del campionario... ecco la risposta. Abbiamo acquisito un lotto importante di matrici da mettere in ordine. Vengono dalla linotipia del mio maestro e il materiale è davvero tanto. Stiamo decidendo se includerlo nel primo volume del campionario o inserire le matrici nel prossimo aggiornamento.
