Indoor wedding portraits are always worth making time for 🤍

Especially when your venue has windows like these!! We had the prettiest light coming in and took full advantage of it for portraits before heading into the rest of the day.

Your wedding photos don’t all have to happen outside to get beautiful natural light. I’m always looking around your venue for spots we can use, and sometimes a simple window is all we need!

One of my favorite things about shooting in an open field is how much room it gives us to actually move. You don’t have to worry about standing in the “perfect” spot or knowing what to do with your hands the entire time. We can walk, run around, switch things up, and let the photos happen as we go.

And if we time it around golden hour, we get that soft light that changes throughout the entire session, which means SO much variety even in one simple location. A good reminder that you really don’t need an elaborate backdrop for engagement photos you love 🤍

From portraits around the city to the kind of dance floor that makes you want to jump right in, this day was full of the moments I never want my couples to forget. I don't think I'll ever get over a wedding with a color palette like this. 🤍

Some weddings just feel like art, and this was one of them. Every color, every bloom, every little detail came together so beautifully that I found myself smiling behind the camera all day.

One of the easiest ways to make wedding planning less stressful? Sending your invitations on time.

Here's a simple timeline to follow:

💌 Save the Dates: 8–12 months before your wedding (especially if you're planning a destination wedding or getting married during a busy season).

💌 Wedding Invitations: 8–10 weeks before the big day.

💌 RSVP Deadline: About 3–4 weeks before your wedding so you have time to finalize your seating chart and give your venue an accurate guest count.

And while you're checking invitations off your list, don't forget to soak in this season. Your engagement goes by so much faster than you think, and these little moments are part of your story too. 🤍
