from time to time I browse the covers of the best magazines of nature photography and a few days ago I came across a service on the gorillas of Bwindi in Uganda. I remember a fantastic journey made about 4 years ago ... so I'm going to open my precious hard disk where I jealously keep all my shots and I find this charming female mountain gorilla taken no more than two meters away. The emotion in reviewing the shot was the same while I was there a few steps and I remember with melancholy eyes of that young female ..

on my last trip I came across a predation of a male Boomslang on a frog. After several attempts the snake has left its prey. You can see how the frog swelled from its inside as a weapon of defense, leaving little hope for the predator.
I was very lucky to have witnessed this sighting 😊

FELIS MANUL, sottospecie Otocolobus manul manul.
Il gatto di Pallas vive nelle steppe asiatiche fino a 4.000 metri di altitudine.
Il manul un tempo era creduto essere l'antenato del gatto persiano per via del muso piatto.
A differenza di altri felidi la pupilla al momento di massima luminosità si riduce ad una piccola sfera e non in una sottile linea verticale.
A lungo cacciato per la sua pelliccia, è protetto in gran parte delle zone dove è diffuso.

During my last climb on the tops of the Altai Mongols I come across the lifeless body of an adult male of Siberian Ibex. The deceased body was under snowy meters and now only its horns emerged. IMPOSING 🐏
