There are few privileges greater than telling love stories in places where history, architecture, and landscape become part of the narrative itself.

In Tuscany, every wedding is more than an event. It is a dialogue between people and place. The timeless ruins of San Galgano and the quiet beauty of the Collegiata di San Quirico d’Orcia are not simply backdrops; they become characters within the story. Stone, light, space, and silence merge with emotion, creating images that feel suspended between art and memory.

This is what makes destination weddings in Tuscany so extraordinary: the feeling that love exists within something much larger than itself — a landscape shaped by centuries, yet always alive in the present moment.

Where history, silence and love meet.

Beneath the timeless stones of Abbazia di Sant’Antimo, every step feels suspended between centuries. Tuscany has a unique way of turning a wedding day into something larger than a celebration: a memory rooted in place, light and emotion.

Few places in the world create the same sense of scale and intimacy at once as Abbazia di Sant’Antimo.

A Romanesque masterpiece surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany, where every stone carries centuries of history and every wedding becomes part of that story.

For destination couples, this is more than a venue. It is an experience of authentic Italy: ancient architecture, golden light, cypress trees, quiet landscapes and emotions that feel timeless.

As a destination wedding photographer, my goal is never just to document what happened, but to preserve how it felt to stand in a place like this, holding the hand of the person you love while surrounded by history.

In Siena, every street becomes part of the story.

Between centuries of history and a few seconds of pure emotion, two lives begin their journey together. From the intimate streets beneath Torre del Mangia to the grandeur of a historic church ceremony, Siena offers a wedding experience unlike anywhere else in the world.

The city is not simply a backdrop. It becomes an active part of the wedding day: medieval architecture, extraordinary light, timeless perspectives and genuine human connection blending into a single visual narrative.

These photographs celebrate exactly that relationship between people and place — the beauty of Tuscany framing authentic moments that will outlive the day itself.

Horizontal frames still matter.

Tuscany Wedding Photographer |

Instagram has taught us to think vertically.

Photography, however, has a much longer history.

Many of the most iconic images ever created were conceived in a horizontal format, allowing space, landscape, relationships and atmosphere to become part of the story.

In wedding photography, I still love working also this way.

The Tuscan countryside is not just a backdrop. It is part of the narrative. Olive trees, cypress trees, architecture, light and distance all contribute to telling the story of a place and the people moving through it.

These images were intentionally composed horizontally first, then rotated for a vertical platform.

I’m curious:

Do you still enjoy horizontal photographs, or has vertical become the natural way to experience images today?

Let me know in the comments.

Some places don’t simply host a wedding — they become part of its story.

From the iconic Abbey of San Galgano to the intimate atmosphere of Pieve di Caminino, this day was a beautiful blend of history, emotion and authentic moments.

As a San Galgano wedding photographer, I am always inspired by the unique relationship between human connection and extraordinary places.

Sunlight, stone walls and real emotions.
A timeless wedding day in the heart of Tuscany at

There’s something unique about a destination wedding in Tuscany.
The light moves slowly across the countryside, the ancient stone reflects warmth, and every moment feels suspended between elegance and authenticity.

At Casa Cornacchi, this wedding became exactly that: intimate, refined and deeply human.
No forced moments. Just atmosphere, movement, emotion and the beauty of being fully present.

As a destination wedding photographer in Tuscany, I’m always searching for this balance between documentary storytelling and editorial beauty — creating images that feel both spontaneous and timeless.

From the soft backlight of the portraits to the energy of the ceremony exit, every frame became part of a visual narrative shaped by light, space and connection.

Casa Cornacchi remains one of those Tuscan venues where simplicity and beauty naturally come together.

Some moments ask to be lived, not performed.

The way your father’s hand shakes when he gives you away, with the Tuscan hills behind him.
The quiet second you take to breathe before the aisle, in a place you chose to call home for a weekend.
The way your mother looks at you when no one else is watching, as golden light fills a villa centuries old.

My work as your destination wedding photographer is to be there for those seconds.
To preserve them with intention, so they become your legacy.

This is documentary work in Tuscany for couples who feel deeply.
