This is the most difficult preview I’ve ever put together.
From the very first message I received from Signe and Christian, I knew I wanted to be their photographer. I fell in love with their plans immediately, and the more details they shared, the more I couldn’t wait for their special day.
It’s impossible not to fall in love with a couple who decide to get married on their own boat and have their guests swim from the shore on inflatable animals and air mattresses.
When we met for the first time and I visited their boat, I realized how strong a couple you have to be to choose to live on a sailboat and travel around the Mediterranean (and beyond), sharing both calm seas and storms in such a tiny space, with nowhere to escape.
The night before their wedding, I didn’t sleep much. Even after all these years as a wedding photographer, I still feel the weight of the responsibility. I just wanted to give them my absolute best because, the truth is, I love people who make uncommon life choices. They simply resonate with me.
But when the day arrives, you realize it’s impossible to plan everything in advance. You always have to be ready to improvise a little and bend the rules.
So that’s exactly what we did. We let the day unfold naturally.
And it was simply sublime.
This is a wedding I’ll never forget, surrounded by truly wonderful people who made me feel at home from the very beginning.
Thank you again.
I wish you all the very best, guys. May you sail through life together, across every ocean, and never stop being as naturally wonderful as you already are.
