Non tutto, durante un matrimonio, succede davanti agli occhi.
A volte il racconto passa da una luce su una parete, da un’ombra che cambia forma, da un angolo di città che sembra fermarsi per un secondo.

Sono dettagli che magari nessuno nota davvero quel giorno, ma che costruiscono l’atmosfera. Per me fanno parte del matrimonio tanto quanto gli abbracci, gli sguardi, le promesse.

Perché il ricordo non è fatto solo di persone ma è fatto anche dei luoghi che le hanno accolte.

Not everything in a wedding happens right in front of you. Sometimes the story moves through a light on a wall, a shadow changing shape, a quiet corner of the city that seems to stop for a second.

These are details that people may not fully notice on the day, but they still build the atmosphere.

To me, they are part of the wedding as much as the embraces, the glances, the promises.

Because memory is not made only of people.

It is also made of the places that held them.

Un matrimonio in una villa storica ha bisogno di essere raccontato anche nel suo insieme.

Non solo i momenti con gli sposi, ma anche il luogo, gli spazi, la preparazione della sala, l’atmosfera che accoglierà gli invitati. Per questo, quando possibile, utilizziamo anche il drone: non per fare “l’effetto wow” fine a sé stesso, ma per dare una visione più completa del matrimonio e valorizzare la location scelta.

Dall’alto si capisce meglio il contesto. Da vicino si raccontano le persone. È l’unione delle due cose che restituisce davvero la giornata.

A wedding in Venice has a rhythm of its own.

The light changes quickly, the water keeps moving and the city never really stops.

And sometimes, to tell it properly, you need to see it from more than one point of view.

From the ground, where everything feels close:
the hands, the dress, the wind, the people, the real moments.

And from above, with the drone, where Venice becomes part of the story in a different way:
wider, quieter, almost suspended.

Not to make the day look bigger than it was.
But to remember where it happened.

And how it felt to be there.

Un matrimonio a Venezia ha un ritmo tutto suo.

La luce cambia in fretta, l’acqua continua a muoversi e
la città non si ferma mai davvero.

E a volte, per raccontarlo bene, serve guardarlo da più punti di vista.

Da terra, dove tutto è vicino:
le mani, l’abito, il vento, le persone, i momenti veri.

E dall’alto, con il drone, dove Venezia entra nel racconto in modo diverso:
più ampia, più silenziosa, quasi sospesa.

Non per far sembrare il giorno più grande di quello che è stato.
Ma per ricordare dove è accaduto.

E cosa si sentiva a essere lì.

I look for a light that makes sense, a wall that can hold the scene, a gesture that doesn’t feel constructed.

Then I let them do the rest.

Cerco una luce che abbia senso, una parete che tenga la scena, un gesto che non sembri costruito.

Poi lascio che siano loro

Un matrimonio in villa non è fatto solo di grandi momenti.
È fatto di luce che entra da una finestra, di mani che parlano, di scale, stanze, attese, sguardi veloci.
Di tutto quello che succede prima che qualcuno dica:
“è il momento”.
In una giornata così, la villa non è solo lo sfondo.
Diventa parte del racconto.
Ma per noi il centro resta sempre lo stesso:
le persone, i gesti, la tensione, la memoria.
Non cerchiamo solo immagini belle.
Cerchiamo ciò che, nel tempo, continuerà a farvi sentire qualcosa.

Prima degli invitati, della cerimonia. e prima che tutto diventi ufficiale.
Il pre-wedding non è qualche foto in più.

Lo sguardo si costruisce prima. Molto prima.

Non fotografo solo matrimoni.

Osservo corpi, luce, arte, movimento, silenzi, anche quando non sembrano avere nulla a che fare con un matrimonio, perché lo sguardo si costruisce prima.

In una statua o in un’ombra.
In una forma che sembra muoversi anche se è ferma.

Poi, quando arrivo davanti a una coppia, tutto questo torna.
Nel modo in cui leggo un gesto.
Nel modo in cui riconosco una tensione.
Nel modo in cui cerco qualcosa che non sia solo “bello”, ma vivo.
