Carlo Boni Wedding Stories Carlo Boni, fotografo professionista di matrimonio con sede a Trento, Trentino Alto-Adige. Sono un fotografo professionista di wedding.

Dopo la maturità scientifica la mia formazione prosegue a Milano,
città che vive dimmagini e cultura visiva;
frequento lIstituto Italiano di Fotografia, conosciuto
a livello internazionale e conseguo il diploma nel 2008. Un anno dopo inauguro il mio studio
a Ponte Arche Terme di Comano
e seguendo la mia crescita professionale,
oriento la mia attività verso la fotografia di matrimonio. La possibilità di lavorare e dedicarmi alla fotografia,
la più grande passione che ho,
è la grande fortuna che ancora oggi mi riconosco.

Carlotta e Gianluca, il Rifugio Friedrich August, il Sassolungo tra le nuvole, gli amici, qualche bicchierino e naturalmente i famosi krapfen.

Ci sono matrimoni in cui il luogo è soltanto uno sfondo.
E altri in cui diventa parte della storia.

Qui la montagna si è presa il suo spazio: il tempo che cambiava continuamente, il rifugio pieno di gente, i brindisi, le risate e una torta decisamente poco convenzionale.

È anche per questo che amo fotografare matrimoni così: non per costruire una giornata perfetta, ma per raccontare quello che succede davvero.

Carlotta and Gianluca, Friedrich August Refuge, the Sassolungo disappearing into the clouds, friends, a few shots, and of course the famous krapfen.

Some weddings have a beautiful place as a backdrop.
Others become inseparable from the place itself.

Here, the mountains became part of the story: constantly changing weather, a mountain hut full of people, toasts, laughter, and a very unconventional wedding cake.

That’s one of the reasons I love photographing weddings like this: not to create a perfect day, but to tell what really happens.

Ci sono luoghi che non hanno bisogno di essere trasformati in uno scenario. Basta lasciare che siano quello che sono.

Il Sassolungo, i prati fioriti, le nuvole basse di una giornata d’estate.
E Carlotta e Gianluca, piccoli dentro un paesaggio immenso.

Ci sono matrimoni che ricordiamo per quello che è successo.

E poi ce ne sono altri che ricordiamo per come ci siamo sentiti mentre accadevano.

Quello di Sara e Stefano, a Maso Naranch, è uno di questi.

La luce tra gli alberi, il vento, il lago in lontananza.
Le corse, le risate, gli abbracci. E quel momento in cui il giorno lentamente se ne va e rimangono soltanto loro, davanti alle montagne.

Fotografare un matrimonio, per me, non significa costruire una successione di immagini perfette.

Significa ricordare com’era esserci.

Un giorno che, ancora oggi, sa di luce, bosco e libertà.

There are weddings we remember for what happened.

And then there are others we remember for how it felt to be there while it was happening.

Sara and Stefano’s wedding at Maso Naranch is one of those.

The light filtering through the trees, the wind, the lake in the distance.
Running, laughing, embracing. And that moment when the day slowly fades away and all that remains is the two of them, standing before the mountains.

For me, photographing a wedding isn’t about creating a sequence of perfect images.

It’s about remembering what it felt like to be there.

Ci sono luoghi che non hanno bisogno di essere trasformati, ma semplicemente interpretati.

A Castel Ivano, pietra, legno, fiori, frutta e luce delle candele hanno costruito un’atmosfera sospesa tra la storia del castello e la personalità di questo matrimonio.

Prima che arrivino gli invitati, prima che le stanze si riempiano di voci, mi piace sempre dedicare qualche minuto a raccontare ciò che è stato preparato per loro.

Perché anche questi dettagli, alla fine, diventano parte della storia.

Some places don’t need to be transformed, only interpreted.

At Castel Ivano, stone, wood, flowers, fruit and candlelight created an atmosphere suspended between the history of the castle and the personality of this wedding.

Before the guests arrive, before the rooms fill with voices, I always like to take a few moments to photograph everything that has been carefully prepared for them.

Because these details, too, eventually become part of the story.

A wedding in the heart of the Dolomites.

Il matrimonio si teneva allo splendido Friedrich August, ai piedi del Sassolungo. E bastava allontanarsi di pochi passi per ritrovarsi in mezzo ai prati fioriti, con le montagne che entravano e uscivano dalle nuvole.

Una di quelle giornate in cui il tempo incerto non toglie nulla al paesaggio. Anzi, gli dà carattere.

The wedding took place at the beautiful RIFUGIO FRIEDRICH AUGUST, at the foot of the Sassolungo. Just a few steps away, we found ourselves surrounded by wildflower meadows, while the mountains appeared and disappeared through the clouds.

One of those days when uncertain weather takes nothing away from the landscape. If anything, it gives it character.

Carlotta e Gianluca sono arrivati da Roma con un’idea molto semplice: sposarsi nel posto che amano davvero.

La montagna.

La Vallunga, la piccola Ca****la di San Silvestro, le Dolomiti tutto intorno. E un matrimonio che ha portato con sé anche un pezzo della cultura di queste valli: abiti tirolesi per molti degli invitati, dettagli tradizionali e una lunga camminata verso la cerimonia.

Mi piace quando un luogo non è soltanto uno sfondo scelto perché è bello, ma diventa parte della storia.

E qui la montagna lo era davvero.

Carlotta and Gianluca came all the way from Rome with one simple idea: to get married in the place they truly love.

The mountains.

Vallunga, the tiny Chapel of San Silvestro, the Dolomites rising all around them. A wedding that also embraced the culture of these valleys, with many of their guests wearing traditional Tyrolean clothes and a long walk through the mountains towards the ceremony.

I love when a place is not simply a beautiful backdrop, but becomes part of the story itself.

And here, the mountains truly were.

Un matrimonio a Castel Pietra, tra mura antiche, luce d’estate e dettagli nei toni del bianco e dell’azzurro.

Mi piace fotografare matrimoni in luoghi così: la storia è presente ovunque, ma non ha bisogno di diventare protagonista. Entra semplicemente nel racconto.

La luce nel castello, il velo nel vento, qualche fotografia più intima e altre più istintive, fino alla festa e ai colori della sera.

I love photographing weddings in places like this: history is everywhere, but it doesn’t need to become the main character. It simply becomes part of the story.

The light inside the castle, the veil moving in the wind, some quieter photographs and others more instinctive, all the way to the celebration and the colours of the evening.

Una giornata di sole, il verde tutto intorno e le montagne sullo sfondo.

A Maso Naranch, un matrimonio che ha iniziato con la luce e la quiete della natura ed è finito esattamente come dovrebbe finire una grande festa: tra risate, balli e fazzoletti alzati in aria.

Un racconto fatto di paesaggio, persone e momenti veri. Dalla cerimonia all’aperto fino all’ultima luce sul Garda.

Un matrimonio d’inverno nelle Dolomiti, la neve che cade f***a, le ciaspole ai piedi — e per qualche istante, tutto il resto scompare.
