Although we came to Cape Verde with the simple goal of a chill beach holiday, being in Santa Maria gave me the perfect excuse to sneak off with my camera and explore the neighbourhoods a little. This is our second time here in Cape Verde. Last year we wandered around Boa Vista.

Travelling with a little one while trying to tap into my creative side definitely requires military‑level planning and lightning‑fast ex*****on 😂 But it felt good to pick up the camera again after such a long break. Hope you enjoy some of these shots.

My dear friends, hope you are all fit and healthy and doing well😊

It has been a while since I been active on social media so please accept my apologies for this. It has been a challenging time for us all since the pandemic started and I guess I took a little bit of a Social Media Detox. Who would have thought that 2020 would be like this!?

Many of you reached out to me to book your photo session so I thought I better share my current status.

At the moment, I am still not taking bookings. I am taking this time to concentrate on my physical health and get back to the "new normal" 🙈

Currently my plan is to start taking bookings late June or start of July so please stay in tune as I will let you know as soon as I do 😊

I will see you all very soon! Take this time to be with your loved ones, enjoy the weather (summer came sooner that we thought this year, at least that is a big plus) and stay healthy!

It is my birthday! Wow...31... It seems like a high number and I am now well and over the imaginary hump. I gotta admit that I still don't really act like a "grown adult", I just enjoy life!

What I noticed though, I am now appreciating smaller things in life.

Here are a few things that do make me happy and I guess what I have learned over these last 10 years or so:

Photography - That is probably pretty obvious but I gotta say guys...once you find your passion, it seems like you become unstoppable.

Travelling - Travel more guys! When I lived in Scotland for so many years, I didn't do any travelling and looking back now...I regret it so much! So get out there, jump on a plane, explore a different culture.

Reading - When I was a kid, I was terrible...I didn't read at all! I played too many video games. I am not saying that video games are bad, they are really good actually, but probably in moderation 😉 Invest in yourself guys! Read more or listen to audio books. That is the best thing that you can do.
