Per il terzo anno consecutivo, il Trofeo Valle Camonica mi ha chiamato. E per il terzo anno, ho risposto con tutto quello che ho.
C'è qualcosa di quasi mistico nel tornare sullo stesso tracciato, riconoscere le curve, i profili delle montagne, i silenzi tra un passaggio e l'altro — eppure trovare ogni volta qualcosa di nuovo da raccontare. La salita non cambia, ma chi la vive, sì.
Tre giorni in cui il termometro ha sfiorato lo zero.
Un grazie enorme va agli amici dell'ufficio stampa, ad ACI Italia e ACI Brescia, che ancora una volta mi hanno permesso di vivere questo evento dall'interno. Al Direttore di Gara, ai Commissari e al Responsabile degli Allestimenti di sicurezza — perché dietro ogni macchina che sfreccia ci sono persone silenziose che tengono tutto in piedi. Ai colleghi trovati sul tracciato: condividere una passione così, sotto questo freddo pungente, crea un'intesa che non ha bisogno di molte parole.
E poi a voi — le migliaia di spettatori che avete colorato ogni angolo della strada, trasformando una competizione motoristica in qualcosa che assomiglia a una festa di popolo. Siete voi l'anima di una disciplina unica, irripetibile.
Spero che queste immagini riescano, anche solo in minima parte, a raccontare quelle tre giornate. Il freddo, la velocità, l'adrenalina, la bellezza.
Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo. 🏔️

🏚️ **Belgrado porta ancora i segni del 1999.**

Questi edifici bombardati dalla NATO durante la guerra del Kosovo non sono mai stati demoliti né restaurati. Restano lì, nel cuore della capitale serba, davanti al Ministero della Difesa — monumenti silenziosi a una storia recente che l'Europa fatica ancora a metabolizzare.

La Serbia ha scelto di non cancellare queste ferite. Di lasciarle visibili, come promemoria permanente. C'è qualcosa di profondamente umano in questa decisione: il rifiuto dell'oblio come forma di resistenza.

Come fotografo, certi luoghi parlano da soli. Non serve aggiungere nulla — basta ascoltare.

The Pelješac Bridge at Golden Hour 🌉

I didn't plan this shot. I was just standing on the hillside, somewhere between Dubrovnik and nowhere, when the sky decided it had something to say.
The Pelješac Bridge — over 2 kilometers of concrete and steel crossing the Adriatic — almost disappears in the haze. At that moment it felt less like infrastructure and more like a brushstroke. Something the light invented just to have something to rest on.
The mountains layered themselves into silence. The water turned to copper. And for a few minutes, everything else could wait.
Some of the best frames come when you stop looking for them.

"Five centuries of light, stone, and devotion — and I was allowed inside."
In the heart of Sarajevo's old bazaar quarter, behind massive wooden doors and a carved stone archway, stands one of the most significant Ottoman monuments in the Balkans: the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, built in 1531 and still very much alive today.
I had the rare privilege of photographing this space — not just as a tourist looking in, but truly inside, during moments that most cameras never witness. The deep crimson of the prayer carpets. The geometric perfection of the painted domes, layer upon layer of calligraphy and arabesques climbing toward the sky. The silence of a man bowed in prayer beside a centuries-old wooden minbar. The courtyard at night, lanterns burning, strangers gathered as they have for five hundred years.
This is a place where architecture becomes devotion, where every detail — from the marble şadırvan fountain to the muqarnas above the mihrab — was designed not for admiration, but for surrender.
Sarajevo is unlike anywhere else in Europe. A city where the call to prayer and the church bell have shared the same sky for generations. The Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque is its spiritual and historical core, and being allowed to photograph it — respectfully, carefully, at different hours and in different light — has been one of the most meaningful assignments of my career.
