I realize it’s been a while since I last posted, but lately I’ve been a little caught up with everything going on in my life. Some pretty big changes are happening and they’re going to shape my future in ways I’m still trying to process.

But in the meantime, here’s a portrait of Silvia, who also created the entire outfit herself. Is she a black rose in a greenhouse, or a creature trapped in a cage? 🖤 🥀🕷️

Thetis, Amphitrite and Galatea.

The Nereids were sea nymphs in Greek mythology. They were associated with the calm, beautiful and life-giving aspects of the sea and were believed to help sailors and fishermen.

Arianna asked me to create, as a gift for her bridesmaids (who are also her sisters) a portrait that would bring them together. From the concepts I proposed, they chose to be portrayed as Nereids, so I designed and prepared costumes and accessories for them.
