Life has been busy of late, so I haven't posted in a while. My daughter treated me to a trip to the zoo recently, and I took this picture, which has now been featured in Flickr's "Explore" section. Out of the millions of photos uploaded to Flickr every day, only a few are selected for this curated section. I am feeling a little proud.... But, I can't take all the credit, the model is sensational.

A visit to Jersey Zoo in the Amphibians & Reptiles house. A Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis), also known as the emerald tree python, in an arboreal resting posture: it is coiled in the classic saddle-like loops over a branch, a characteristic behavior of green tree pythons. Started the day marshalling for the De La Salle College Jersey this morning. At the gunsite from 07:45 to 09:15, lovely to see some more alumni and parents taking part this year. And well done to all the boys participating, I'm hoping the rain will wait until tomorrow....

Marshalling at the gunsite for the island walk today, making sure students navigate this tricky area safely... At least it's not raining (yet)
