« Ce que tu deviendras » is a remarkable collaboration between artists from Jersey and France. Inspired by writer Marine Lantrain’s relationship with her autistic brother, it’s a deeply human story about family, grief, resilience and love.

Directed by Rebecca Coley, one of Jersey’s leading filmmakers, and supported by an exceptional creative team—including acclaimed cinematographer Will Jack Robinson—this is an independent film with both heart and ambition.

What if a photograph could become permanent?

This collaboration began with a shared fascination for craftsmanship, material, and permanence.

For years, portrait photography has relied on paper, ink, and digital storage — all of which eventually deteriorate or disappear. Even the museum-grade archival prints we produce and frame behind UV-protective glass are ultimately still prints.

This became an exploration into something different.

Beginning with a solid sheet of black acrylic, each portrait is physically carved into the material using CNC machining, before being filled, sanded, and polished entirely by hand.

No paper.
No ink.
No surface print.

The image becomes part of the material itself.

Somewhere between portraiture, sculpture, and craftsmanship, these pieces are designed not simply to be viewed, but to endure.
