I’ve always enjoyed photography from a young age but never took it seriously, in 2012 I purchased my first DSLR camera which was a canon 450D and to me it was the best thing ever. As time progressed it felt like it wasn’t good enough and in January 2013 I bought a Cannon 7D, of which I still have today. Photography is relaxing and a good way to explore the outdoors it also makes you adventurous in trying new techniques. I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from a few people, Nick Venton and a few other talented local photographers. One person I will always be thankful to is Gary Stringfellow, as one night down at La Pulente, I plucked up the courage to ask a total stranger some advice on long exposure photography and he explained what I needed to do, I was so made up. If you enjoy the outdoors and your surroundings then photography is a must, over the last few months it has helped me battle through my illness and given me a focus.
