I have just started rolling my own, from 35mm bulk film. The first test roll had long straight scratches end to end, so I thought I may have made an error in loading the cassette. 2nd roll the same cassette, same camera and same scratch lines, but I now know they are from the reusable cassette. But with this roll I have what must be a light leak. It looks like the sprocket holes may be related and these are through the whole roll.

So a question for all you knowledgable folks: is the light leak likely to be
- the reusable cassette
- my loading of the cassette (Computrol loader)
- the Computrol
- the camera, Chinon CM-4 I have used for several years and put which I suspect it is,
- or even loading into the Paterson tank (which I do several time each week but one never knows).

I have now loaded a used Kodak cartridge; no scratches and will dev that tomorrow, so will update this post then.

Le Caddy, Le Touquet, France
We like to visit france for a week or two in the summer. This Le Caddy installation is the emblem of Le Touquet and is famous with golfers around the world. It is standing on the beach facing the setting sun and I photograph it every year. The same motif, different sunset.

夏には1～2週間フランスを訪れるのが好きです。このル・キャディのインスタレーションはル・トゥケのシンボルであり、世界中のゴルファーによく知られています。夕日に面したビーチに建っており、毎年写真を撮っています。同じモチーフですが、夕日の表情はそれぞれ違います。

Through the glass wall around the escalator, the lines of the floor, escalator steps and rails are fascinating, don't you think?
I printed it in the darkroom last week. Black and white film from a vintage camera is beaitiful.

An unusual bar in Atami. I stumbled upon this bar in a minivan after a year-end party. Masaya san is the owner and he's there every every night, so I went back again and took some pictures, as part of my Atami life project. Thank you Masaya san and your customers!
