Why are so many accomplished women missing from their own brand story? Women leaders often spend years building expertise, credibility, and influence. Yet when it comes to their professional image, many still feel pressure to conform or edit parts of themselves.

These are concerns I often hear from remarkable women who are already leading, innovating, and making an impact. Society undoubtedly plays a role in shaping these perceptions. As a result, many women learn to carefully manage how they present themselves, often prioritizing what feels acceptable over what feels authentic.
The challenge is that when we edit ourselves to fit expectations, we can unintentionally diminish the very qualities that make us effective leaders. This often leads to under-recognition.
