You know what goes well with my cornbread? My 60-second bbq rub. You probably already have all the spices in your cabinet. 🍗 ➡️🦴Recipe is on the blog!

Anyone have any fun plans for this weekend? The fall semester of my MBA starts up again next week, so I’ll be spending an ungodly amount of money on textbooks and prepping for a tough 15 weeks!

You won’t be needing another cornbread recipe ever again.

I had some friends over for what turned out to be the BEST PARTY EVER: An in-home cooking class where we learned to make sushi!

I've discovered a new party idea we need to get trending: In-home cooking classes with a private chef.

If only everything in life could be as uncomplicated as a good burger + fries.

Today I left my job of 5 years, and the university I’ve been a part of for 11. I drove down Foothill Drive, and around the east bench for the last time in my foreseeable future.

My experiences at the University of Utah shaped my adult life, and made me the human I am today. I’m feeling really emotional and not quite sure about what’s coming next, even though I know it’s the best move for me. Forever grateful for the people who blessed my daily work place.

Change doesn’t come easy to me, but I know it’s the only way to move forward in life. I’ll bleed red til I die (not only because that’s the U of U color but it’s also the color of blood) ❤️❤️❤️

I have 2 super exciting things for y’all on this Friday:

1. I just posted a roundup of everything a foodie should be making themselves, and Gordon Ramsay even makes an appearance (link in bio)

2. I am now part of .it so it’s super easy for you to get the details on all my pics. Download the Like to Know it app, screenshot my post, and shop your screenshots! It’s so fun and easy, and you’ll find a ton of other inspiration on there.

Today I start my cleanse with a group of my besties. 30 days to kickstart some healthier habits and get moving. This winter has been a tough one, so it’s time to show some self-love in the form of focusing on my health.

Even though I’m not eating sugar for the next 30 days, I’m still working on locating the best rated pastry shops in Eastern Europe for our fall trip.

Here’s a flash back of our visit to in Tokyo. The most beautiful fruit pies you ever did see. Although, I would NOT recommend the sour cherry!

Finishing out pi day with a bang, thanks to my foodie colleagues who convinced me to “save it for later.”

Pera pie, with prosciutto, pears, pistachios, basil and red onions. SO. FREAKING. GOOD. They also have a blackberry pizza which I want to try.

If you don’t eat fruit on your pizza...you’re wrong. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Happy Pi Day!

I wish I could celebrate with this incredible chocolate tart I came across in Tokyo, but I’ll just have to drool over the picture while I eat hospital cafeteria food instead. (Notice...I had to eat this with chopsticks because there were no forks to be found anywhere 😂)

My husband and I have started to search for spots to hit up on our food tour to Eastern Europe this fall. I plan to find the best pastry (as per usual) and to seek out ALL the paprikash I can find.

Springtime colds are the worst. I can’t stand it when it’s beautiful and sunny, but I feel like death.

On the bright side, I laid on the couch snacking on my homemade croutons all day. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em, right?
