My brother has achieved full family and dog status. The dog is cute. But don't be fooled, a young wild menace. Perhaps as I'm posting this so late and this was last last winter, that maybe, he's chilled out by now. Not only had I at this time not been back to Canada in about 4 years. Prior to that, I had only returned during the summer. So getting a chance to see the nieghborhood all blanketed in snow, reminiscent of some sleepy Whoville, was especially rare for me.

At this point in the trip I handed over the camera to a rising photographer. They managed to capture me, I think, at the most attractive moment in my whole life.

Another leg of my trip when visited Canada last November was to see my childhood friend on Vancouver Island. He lives up in the qualicum area which is famously beautiful. A part of the visit was. Going to spa resort called 'Tigh Na Mara'. It's made up of the very cosy chill cabins giving it a feeling like camping and then they have these cool bathing pools. Simila to the onsen culture in Japan but with a distinctly Canadian feel. Also infamous on the island in this area is a shop where you can buy some of the most amazing sweets. Unfortunately I forget it's name. This was an unforgettable memory. Miss ya
