I woke up this morning to the news of this tourist-favourite laksa stall ceasing its operations.

I took this photo 5 years ago in 2016, oh the good old days before someone decided to eat a bat and rain chaos over the modern world.

Looking back at the these photos, I see someone who dedicated his whole life perfecting a craft of his own.

A man with tenacity to serve, who stood his ground for decades crafting the same dish day and night that eventually became a fan favourite.

Seeing something come to an end always strike a chord, because it's someone's years of trial and error, sweat and hardwork drawing it's final curtain.

I can only imagine the surge of emotions a person has to go through to pull that trigger.
