Catch Me If You Can

Mama leopard glides ahead like it’s nothing.
Her cub is all paws, spots, and determination.

So close.
Almost.
Nope.

And mama keeps just enough of a lead to keep the game going.

Just Long Enough

A caracal sighting is usually just a flicker
a shape slipping back into the grass.
But this time, she lingered.
Just long enough to meet my gaze.

A Moment Between

As the sun sets, the lion rises.
Suspended between light and dark.
A moment held in shadow and color, gone as quickly as the light.

Full of Possibility

Tiny elephant feet in a field of pink

Petals scattered like confetti, little trunks swinging, everything gentle and new.

A beginning written in bloom and possibility.

At Home in the Wild

A quiet walk, a swirl of tail, and a canvas of light. The leopard moved forward, calm and deliberate, with the quiet confidence of one at home in its world.

Taking his job very seriously…
A young cheetah, tucked in the bushes, watching zebra in the distance and absolutely convinced he’s invisible.
Safe near mom. Big plans.

Painted Dusk

Giraffes moving through the last light, silhouettes stretched against layers of color that feel almost painted.

A sky that just kept taking shape, unfolding into more and more glorious color with every passing moment.

Just the rhythm of the wild easing into night.

Ambushing the Queen

Two cubs against one lioness.
A plan in motion.
She lets them try.
Leap, tumble, test their strength.
Because this is how it begins.
Play becoming instinct.
The Queen, always in control.

As He Is

Straight on.
Unbothered.
Unmistakable.
An elephant in his element.

held in the moment,
watching everything.

I’m really honored to have two of my images selected in the final 200 for this year’s Remembering Giraffes book.

Out of nearly 2500 submissions, these images are now in the running for the final 20 that will be published in the book.

Photography has a way of creating connection, and this series uses that to support conservation in a meaningful way.

Thank you to for shortlisting my images in this year’s selection. Grateful to be alongside so many photographers whose work I admire.

Crowned in Light

A male lion steps through the sunset, the light bursting beneath him like the sky couldn’t help but put on a show.

On a mission now.
The night begins as he sets out on his patrol, moving through his world, guarding what is his.

Strength. Purpose. And a moment that burns just a little brighter.
