A few days ago in partnership with other refugee led organizations such as , & GLAP Enterprise were able to distribute more than 215 pieces of masks and soaps/ Sanitizers to individuals that are more likely to get in contact with the virus due to the nature of their work, that included Refugee women who sell vegetables at the market, Motorcycle riders etc, as a response to to slow down and also prevent the spread of Covid-19 in this vulnerable refugee community.
Our second phase that will support 100 most vulnerable vulnerable people within our community is underway.
A heartfelt appreciation to everyone that contributed and using their voice to advocate for refugee inclusion, thank you ,.hachey family and everyone else that I have not mentioned you are all appreciated.
And to all other well wishers who want to stand with refugees in Kakuma, we are working on a M-changa and PayPal for contributions that will support our second and third phase, we will post it once everything is ready
