Meet Nyota Munga, a Congolese refugee and mother making a difference in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Once a skilled footballer, she gracefully transitioned into ball stitching. Currently, Nyota leads a group of youths and women, empowering them through her initiative. By training them in ball stitching, she not only imparts skills but also fosters development and social cohesion among refugees and the host community.
Nyota extends an invitation to humanitarian agencies involved in sports and youth activities to support her impactful initiative. We had the privilege of visiting her yesterday and captured her inspiring journey in a 3 minute video. Witness the change she's bringing, and let's join hands to change the world together.
