Our toys as kids were luminous and colourful. They still are today. Colour stimulates both emotion and physical.
As we grew up through teenage years of curiosity and experiment, colour still played a part. We dyed our hair pink, what now we would consider weird shades. Gold and silver teeth grills perhaps an influence of the hip hop culture. Our cars were not spared either. Chunky rotating chromes with luminous yellow body. What happens when we grow older?
Phunk colours is a primer collaborative project of young creatives based in Nairobi Kenya, in a little way to capture the funk of colour.
