Chasing Sunsets on Assignment in Kajiado
Not every assignment is just about the destination. Sometimes, the most memorable moments happen between the work and the journey.
While on assignment in Kajiado, near the Nairobi–Namanga border, I was treated to a spectacular sunset that demanded my attention. As the sun dipped below the horizon, dramatic storm clouds rolled across the sky, creating a stunning contrast of light, shadow, and texture. Every location tells its own story through its sunsets, and this one was nothing short of extraordinary.
Standing there, surrounded by the vast landscapes of Kajiado, I was reminded why photography is about more than capturing images. It is about being present in the moment and preserving experiences that might never happen the same way again.
These breathtaking scenes lasted only a few minutes, but through the lens, they become timeless. Moments like these are why I never travel without my camera ready.
