JULIA + ALBERT

I met Albert at a place where I was working as an intern. He was a student there. He put quite some effort into getting my phone number. He even stepped into the library for the first time to see if he would be able to approach me, but he was shy. It didn't work.

He somehow managed to get my phone number. We texted for a while not knowing who I was talking to but the conversation was really flowing and I got curious to know who the person was.

The funny thing is that he saw me from a distance one day, called me, and waved, telling me "I am the one you've been chatting with" and then he walked away.

Albert is warm and approachable. I got to know him better, and contrary to my thinking, he was not shy but rather a cool and laid-back person.

We had our first date at his house after several attempts of playing hard to get. He asked me out way later after several "dates"at his house.

The first time going to his house, we hardly had a conversation in the matatu. it was a very quiet journey. Ild say that day was beautiful in its own way.

Our Thirteen-year journey describes our desire to live and love each other always.
