You’ve seen the last photo already, but this is what happened beforehand. When seeing this Black-winged Kite I was hoping to get a picture of it flying away, so I made sure to get my shutter speed up so I was prepared for that. It cooperated perfectly and I am still so proud of this series 🤍

Happy 100th Birthday to Kruger National Park 🦁🌿

The place where my wildlife photography truly grew while I spent two years living on its doorstep, making countless trips into the park whenever I could.

Over those years, Kruger became my classroom. It taught me patience, observation, and how to tell stories through images. From unforgettable encounters with the Big Five to discovering the often-overlooked creatures that make this ecosystem so extraordinary, every visit offered something new to learn and photograph.

Some of my favorite memories have been made along these roads—early mornings chasing golden light, long days exploring new areas, and those magical sightings that stay with you forever.

For 100 years, Kruger has inspired generations of wildlife lovers, photographers, conservationists, and adventurers. I feel incredibly lucky that it played such a big role in my own journey.

Here’s to the next century of wild stories ❤️

Watching a big male leopard walk straight toward the vehicle is one of those moments where time slows down. Every step, every stare, every detail suddenly feels unreal when an animal this powerful is only a few meters away.

So be honest… what would you do in this situation? 👀

As daylight faded, she came out of the shadows 🖤

There’s something unforgettable about watching a black leopard appear in the last light of the day — almost like the darkness itself is moving, with her pale eyes cutting through the fading light.

Sightings like this never feel real, no matter how much time you spend in the wild. They remind me why I keep coming back, chasing those rare moments where nature feels completely untamed.

I felt like this lion portrait just had to go in black & white. No distractions, no color — just detail, texture, and presence. The scars, the eyes, the mane… every part of the image tells a story of survival in the wild 🦁

Seeing Bengal Tigers in the wild for the first time earlier this year was one of those moments I’ll never forget. After spending so many years dreaming about it, suddenly being face to face with one in its natural habitat felt almost unreal. The way they move through the forest so silently, yet completely command your attention, is something no photo or documentary can truly prepare you for.

I came home with photos I’m incredibly proud of, but more than that, with memories that reminded me why I fell in love with wildlife photography in the first place.

I’m already working on next year’s tour and I honestly can’t wait to go back and hopefully capture even more moments like this.

Watching African Wild Dogs is always one of the most interesting experiences in the bush. There’s never really a quiet moment. Even after a successful hunt, the energy continues with constant interaction, communication, and excitement between the pack members.

Every movement seems to have meaning, from playful behavior to reinforcing social bonds, and it’s fascinating to watch how connected they are as a team. Moments like this are a reminder of why they’re considered some of the most intelligent and efficient predators in Africa.
