🌱Sometimes the smallest animals do the biggest work in nature.
Squirrels and other rodents help forests grow. When they carry and hide seeds in the ground for food, some of those seeds are forgotten. Later they grow into plants and trees that produce food for many other animals. This is how nature quietly renews itself.
This photo was taken in Tsavo West National Park during a conservation photography tour — a reminder that every animal, even the small ones, plays an important role in keeping the ecosystem alive.
