Murghab is just a weird fu***ng place, no two-ways about it. You drive for hours and hours between mountains and suddenly you hit a small town with police everywhere.

The police are all of course a big fan of Raj Kapoor and Salman Khan. And if you tell them you live in his city, they will leave you alone.

The market is a collection of shipping containers from the USSR era. How did they reach there, you ask? Through the Black Sea of course!

Not a great shot - but this was on bulb mode at 67 seconds WITHOUT a tripod at f/2.8 and I had to use a phone light instead of rear sync flash. Sigh.
