It was formerly considered as conspecific with the rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher and together the species complex was known by the English name “oriental dwarf kingfisher”. This tropical kingfisher is a partial migrant that is endemic to parts of the Indian Subcontinent and Mainland Southeast Asia. It resides in lowland forests, typically near streams or ponds, where it feeds upon insects, spiders, worms, crabs, fish, frogs, and lizards. It is easily distinguishable from other birds in its range due to its red bill, yellow-orange underparts, lilac-rufous upperparts, and blue-black back. Source: Wikipedia

(𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐬) is Olive-yellow bulbul with a black head and unsettling sapphire eyes. Broad black band across the tail is especially noticeable when seen from below. No other bulbul in its range sports a crestless dark head, but look out for the slenderer and longer-billed leafbirds, whose dark throats may cause confusion when seen from below. Extremely rare gray morph replaces all yellow with gray, and intermediate birds have both yellow and gray patches. Inhabits broadleaf and mixed forests as well as edges, often in areas close to water. Usually seen in pairs or small flocks in the upper layers of lowland and foothill forest. Unlike many other bulbuls, not particularly vocal; gives occasional “chew” or “chep” notes, often while flying. Source by Wikipedia.

𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭-𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐞 | ទ្រមាក់ខ្លា (𝐂𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚) is an Asian treepie, a member of the crow family, Corvidae.
It has a velvety-black forehead of short, plush black feathers with the rest of the bird being an oily green colour, though appearing black in dim light. The tail feathers which in this species are long and broaden at the tail's end are black also with a greenish tinge, as are the wings. The iris of the bird is a turquoise-blue darkening towards the pupil to a very deep or near black. The bill, legs and feet are black.This bird occurs in southern Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Indo-China, Sumatra, Java and Bali in scrub and secondary growth, open fields and gardens, bamboo thickets and open forest often near villages.
