Tarantulas are some of the world's most terrifying arachnids… and the stuff of nightmares for many 🕷️🕸️
That's exactly why Germany's ProSieben - Galileo contacted us to help produce a TV episode about one of Cambodia's creepiest, yet most popular snacks.
We took Dangerous Food host Kim Caramella and the Galileo team on a frightening yet epic week-long adventure through the wilds of Kampong Thom, where native tribes have been feasting on these spiders for centuries, and the increasingly famous town of Skun, home to bustling bug markets where you can find deep-fried ants, water beetles, silkworms, crickets, and the like.
Our scope of work included: finding stories and subjects, scouting locations, processing filming permits, arranging accommodation and transport, coordinating and supervising the shoot, securing great deals from vendors, interpreting, ensuring the team's safety, and much more.
