PCS season sucks. We have been so lucky to meet the best people at each duty station, and the Bastian family is no exception. Secretly, I'd hoped they'd be here with us much longer, but they're off on their new adventure, and we miss them already!

The Bastians are the best of the best; humble, kind, hardworking, sincere, and so, so sweet. To say they're missed already would be an understatement! I'm so glad we captured a quick mini session together before your next big adventure

I've had a lot of questions from new and upcoming clients lately about "faces" and where, how, and what I share on my social media and business pages, so I figured the best way to address it was to just put it all out there in the open!

First and foremost, my clients take the lead. If you want your photos shared, I *love* that...nothing makes me happier! Some clients are okay with their faces shared, but prefer not to share their children's faces...that's great! Some people prefer their children not to be shared at all - also great! Some others prefer their images not be shared at all, and you know what? That's perfectly fine!

I will always ask my clients before I post or share anything, and I will never share without express written permission. Some galleries are open. Some are locked and password protected. Your photos - your rules

As a military spouse, I've been blessed to photograph some amazing sessions across the globe, but military sessions are always up there among my favorites. Recently, I had the honor of capturing CW5 Burg's final flight, and it was nothing short of awesome.

The Burgs are the best people - and the best neighbors - and to say that we'll miss them here on the peninsula will be an understatement. Congratulations on your final flight, Chief! And to the whole Burg family...we love you!

About a month ago, I had the pleasure of being able to capture Hazel and Marc's Convalidation at Kapaun Chapel on Camp Humphreys. With four beautiful children, a community of friends and family surrounding them, and beautiful spring weather, we watched as they affirmed their faith in the sanctity of the Catholic Church.

There was such a powerful spirit in the chapel, and with the sun shining, smiles all around, and so much joy, this was such an absolute blessing to be a part of!

Living in South Korea, I've quickly learned there are two types of people here. There are those who've accepted their time here as something they need to sort of "ride out," and those who truly embrace the journey and fall in love with this country like we have. Neither is wrong, but I think it's safe to say where we land on this one ;)

I think Carrie is my kindred spirit. Her joy for Korea is palpable. Her excitement for the blossoms was infectious, and seeing them at Gakwonsa Temple through the Hall family's eyes was like seeing them again for the first time. What an absolute joy!

Maybe it's the fact that I'm a twin mama now, but I see twins everywhere, and getting to photograph Jay, Laura, and their precious little baby boy and girl amid the blossoms was just such a joy!

This beautiful new family of four joined me with Bingsu, their pup, and I swear - they make parenthood look effortless. How blessed am I to photograph and become friends with clients like these?

If you know me at all, you know that I love storytelling. It's my thing, and I think that's why I love photography so much...because if you do it just right, you're not posing your clients. You're just sort of a window into their world.

The Cal Kirby family was magical. South Korea was on the cusp of spring, the sunlight was high overhead, and following their little girls as they danced and played around the village was nothing short of magic 🧡✨

I always forget what a wild ride cherry blossom season is. From the rain, to the wind, to the inevitably chilly nights and random hot days, predicting the *perfect* blooms is nearly impossible.

Meagan and Timothy, however, made it all look effortless though, and to say I'm obsessed with their mini session would be an understatement

I had the opportunity recently to document the addition of precious Silvana to the beautiful Ruiz Chapa family, and to say that it was perfect would be an understatement

Cherry Blossom Minis are Here!
