In February, my girlfriend and I visited some palaces in Seoul. One of these was 경희궁 (Gyeonghuigung), located near the Seoul Museum of History.

The palace was first used as a royal residence in 1616, but burnt down in 1829. During the Japanese occupation of Korea, the remaining building were torn down and a school was built on the site.

It was basically deserted when we visited, and looks to be a great place for photography. I will be heading back now spring is approaching.
