I’m extremely lucky to have had so many unforgettable wildlife interactions since I’ve started underwater photography. When you attempt to force these moments, while possible, it can take a very long time. The 5th image in the series is my favorite photo of someone with a whale. It’s one of the only whale photos I posted. In total we spent 32 hours on whale boats in moorea trying to get an amazing whale interaction. Thanks to the help of it finally happened. But still, it was a lot of time in the water hoping for a crazy interaction.
On this particular shark day asked me to go and swim through this group of sharks for a photo, to which I shook my head no and pointed to him and he was up for it 😂
Last image in the series is a flashback to my earlier days (Jan 2020) and one of my favorite wildlife photos which helped create the drive to have more of these interactions.

Underwater cave photography has been a passion since the beginning. Hawaii has a lot to offer if this is something you want to do.
This is an assortment of images showing some of the caves I’ve been able to photograph. Each presenting its own challenges.
Please tell me which image you like the most 😄
I wish there were photos of me getting these photos because almost always I’m bracing myself on the cave walls like a little underwater tripod or something 😂 a lot of times I have to be so low I have to sit with my legs out on either side of the camera 😂which I’m sure looks ridiculous with fins on.
The last image in this series is a photo I took of the guy who got me into all this cave photography stuff, and someone who I still view as one of the best to ever do it. Taken in June 2019.

A repost of one of my favorite photos from 2020. Me and Sava had to decide trying to get a photo with two white tip sharks or these 8 eagle rays. Sava said something along the lines of 8 eagle rays is the obvious choice 🤣 I still haven’t personally seen more than 8 at one time. So this was a great day and opportunity 😬

I’ve only seen this many of these fish at this location one time. I’ve probably dove here 100+ times. It’s crazy how many times you have to dive to get those crazy wildlife interactions. Always grateful to share a moment with wildlife 🙏🏻
