[Garden By the Bay East, Singapore] Firework display for Singapore National Day! Fifty-two years of National Building...

Base image created from 5 exposures was digitally merged and edited in Lightroom. Images of fireworks (7): Taken at 4s exposures, where each image was merged into the base image. Removal of unwanted smoky, and floating elements done within Photoshop and Lightroom. Final composite touch-up in Lightroom.

[East Coast Parkway, Singapore] Firework display for NDP Preview... Was split between Garden by the Bay East and this vantage... Eventually decided on this which entails climbing up 4 flights of stairs lumbering my trolley case!! It was a very windy day, glad the shakes were not too obvious!

Base image created from 3 exposures was digitally merged and edited in Lightroom. Images of the Flyer (9): On hindsight, should've have taken a long exposure of the Flyer to get a smooth continuous light from the cabins... Images of fireworks (5): Taken at various exposures between 3.2s to 5s, where each image was merged into the base image, after removal of unwanted smoky elements within Photoshop. Final composite touch-up in Lightroom.

[Esplanade, Singapore] Firework display during NDP NE1... To get the prime central spot, I knew one has to be there early. I reached before 4pm (Fireworks suppose to be around 8:10pm), but was 25 minutes late. The prime spot was taken... No choice. Shifted left a little. This composition is so wide, I am missing some head space even with a 12mm Fish Eye (tilted downwards to get the horizon straight). Very challenging location!!

Base image created from 5 exposures was digitally merged and edited in Lightroom. Images of fireworks (5): Taken at various exposures: 4s (1x), 5s (1x), 6s (2x) and 15s (1x), each image was merged into the base image, followed by minor distortion control and removal of unwanted elements, all done within Photoshop. Final composite touch-up in Lightroom.

[Clarke Quay, Singapore] This has got to be one of the nicest sunset seen in Singapore this year even though we have been getting several nice sunsets in recent weeks. Lets all hope for more to come!!

[Pulau Bintan, Indonesia] Went with a group of friends over the weekend in search of Milkyway, but was met with rather unfavourable weather at night. On the next morning, we went to a coastal region and were met with very calm waters. Decided on the spot to conceptualise an image with the scene at hand, based on some minimalist seascape photography I seen online...

Single-frame image, with 4 bracketed exposures digitally merged and edited in Lightroom, before bringing it into Photoshop for some photo-chopping... Final touch-up done in Lightroom...

Single-frame base image of 5 exposures were digitally merged and edited in Lightroom, before porting across to Photoshop with another 5 separate frames of light trails selectively blended in... Final image touched-up in Light room.
